Diagbox

Hello! My old XP-computer died after long time duty. Now I have a new computer but only with Win 7 Ultimate x86. I'm trying to install Diagobox according to the installations instructions I have on the CD. But when I start Diagbox after following the instructions, it stands "failed to activate".

How do I get Diagbox to work? I'll use this computer as a diagnose computer, maybe bring it with me when I'm looking on used cars.

I'm confused by the x86 designation - is your windows definitely 32 bit ? Seems unlikely as unless its a netbook all new computers these days will be 64 bit versions of windows. Check by right clicking on "computer" and choosing properties.

Diagbox will install and work as-is on Windows 7 32 bit but will have to be installed into an XP virtual machine to run on a 64 bit version of Windows.

What version of Diagbox are you trying to install ?

Yes, it's x86 (32 bit). I've installed it myself. I'm trying to install Diagbox 5.02 as I have on CD
