I make that it cost you £41.35 for your 304.2 miles. Thats about what I would expect to use money wise as the 2.0 hdi138. So you have the best of both worlds Steve, 3.0V6 smoothness and power for hdi fuel costs. I'm jealous. Very jealous!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been using the Coupé quite a bit since getting her back and I have say, she is amazing, there's a couple of little jobs that need addressing caused by a previous owner, not the last one I hasten to add.......

There are a couple of scratches on the bodywork that I want dialling with, otherwise, I'm in the process of updating the SatNav discs as I've managed to acquire a set of RT4 ones, so once the Peugeot is done, the C6 will get the upgrade as well.

Caught a couple of boy racers looking at her this morning when we went shopping, they asked a few questions and said they had never seen one before, that got me thinking, actually there aren't that many about, so I've managed to acquire another French rarity......

I'm glad you're enjoying the 407, Steve.

I'm really missing it to be honest. I love the Range Rover, but there was something that made climbing into and driving the 407 a very special experience. As I didn't use it very often it certainly used to make me smile.

20.7mpg
£34.23 for the tank
= petrol equivalent of 39.2mpg

So not bad going really from the first tank and i bet your enjoying driving it still so long term MPG will creep up slowly :D

The LPG has been fitted and the return is quite impressive, I'm averaging some 40.8 mpg after the conversion, which for the size of car is "Grand as 'owt" \:D/ car is really in need of some detailing and that's the next thing on the agenda, the inside is fine, it does need new carpet mats, which I'm hunting for, but in the meantime, I've acquired a set of genuine 407 rubber ones for everyday use, I got these for the princely sum of £25 from a dealer who was clearing stock out in Scotland.

Here's a couple of picture of the LPG kit
