Height Control Lever (529113) Roll Bar Position

Bit of a confusing one that title I think, but "Height Control Lever" is the part name, and it attaches to the front height adjuster and the roll bar (I believe).

Trouble is, after replacing a rather bent and broken one, which is why the front suspension wouldn't work, I am now left with the front suspension all out of whack.

Would any kind members be willing to photograph the position of this part when in the "All Up" service position please? It'd be a great help, and would get this one off the drive so I can get another lined up for front strut tops.

You have #3 which must be fitted to #6 plastic clip, the front one.

Caution: Be careful when working under the car and dealing with suspension parts!
There is almost an official warning about this but I can't find it.

Very simply put, DO NOT WORK UNDERNEATH A GREEN BLOODED CITROEN WITHOUT IT BEING PROPERLY SUPPORTED. IF THE SUSPENSION DROPS IT WILL KILL YOU! You will also need to use either a set of ramps or a pit or a proper lift (that's supports the car on its' wheels), as you can only adjust the height properly when she is on her wheels, as the height correctors are then 'seeing' what is going on.

I ain't kidding about the safety aspect. Last year I was up at CitroJims' sorting out Gracies' front ride height with her up on ramps. I slightly over adjusted, and when she stopped moving her sump was touching my chest. If we had not allowed for this she would have crushed me to death.

i think the OP is asking for picy's of the clamp/link in situe to get an idea of its orientation,

although i dont think picy's will help much,

i would start with the manual lever set at normal ride height, and adjust the clamp to get the car as near to the correct ride height on this setting,

AGAIN AS OTHERS HAVE SAID MAKE DAM SURE WHEN THE CAR IS FULLY DOWN YOU STILL HAVE ENOUGH CLEARANCE FOR WHAT EVER BODY SIZE YOU ARE

it is also best the have the car sitting level front to rear and on all 4 wheels, so 4 car ramps are best if you do not have the use of a pit or car lift,

Shall be buying a couple of extra ramps then.

Or buying the steel in to make some see-saw ramps...

I used to have Xantia MK2 and at the moment I don't have the chance to take a pic of the front height corrector. I searched my archive and found a pic taken from a scrap car. It was a MK2 and I hope this will help a bit to figure it out the position.
The car was resting on top of another car. So it was safe to go under to take a pic

Front of the car is towards left and rear is towards right in the pic.
