replacing Aircon hose Xantia MKII hdi

Post by John Plum »

I have a hole in the wide aluminium hose near the compressor and it seems like I would have to replace the hose all the way back under the d/s engine mounting to some joint behind. Doe anyone know from experience anything more about this hose, where it joins and ease of replacement?

Don't ask me how the hole got there - was on the car when I bought it, it seems. :(
Cheers, :)

It looks like there is a joint just after the engine mount, so replacement should be fairly easy - no idea how the joint comes apart mind you! There was a pipe change at RP 8368 -earlier one is NFP, later one is a pretty heady £110 from Citroen...seems to be common to all except the V6 though, so should be able to find a 2nd hand one.

Thanks Richard, we couldn't see that join when we looked (me and DickieG) but I shall look closer for it. Think I'll take my time and seek a s/h one then, as
summer's cooling down.
By all means pm me if you have one, any one out there.
cheers John.
