Been told my 06 C5 lower arm bushes need replacing as have bit of twitching when braking, can I get just the bushes or will I need to replace whole lower arm units ?
Also N/S driveshaft boot has split, gonna be a bit costly as I have to do both weeping rear suspension gaiters that I have already bought.
have also got timing belt & water pump kit been told garage job as special tools needed??
Just giving car much needed work as over 200k do it now be scrap before needed again.

Re: 06 C5 Lower Arm Bushes
Bushes look to available separately - might need a press to get them on or off....
Cambelt is described in Haynes for this engine - doesn't look too bad, but it does appear you need a locking tool for the flywheel ring, but I'd expect you could get a kit somewhere.
Drive shaft boot will be std fare - you'll be halfway there if you have split the bottom ball joint and dropped the arm out anyway....

Re: 06 C5 Lower Arm Bushes
Thanks Richard
I have looked at timing belt fitting in Haynes don't seem that bad, even explains how to make "specialist" tool.
I ordered just the bushes back & front for the Lower Arms, difference of £100 without the metal.
Luckily for me I now have the help from a Citroen trained mechanic and a garage with lift to use could have had it this Sat morn but can't get parts by then so have to be next Sun afternoon.
So this Sat oil, filter, air & pollen filter also both rear suspension gaiters.
