C5 rear washer

The rear washer on my 2003 C5 does not work. The front washer works fine. When I turn the switch to turn the rear washer on I do not hear any noise from the washer pump. Whereas when I put the front washers on I can hear the pump working fine. Is there a separate fuse for the rear wash wipe? Lee.

I believe (but I am NOT certain of this) that the pump runs one way for the front washer, and the opposite way for the rear washer.

I agree with that.
The problem then is most likely a poor electrical connection.
If you drop the bumper you will have access to the pump and can check the wiring. Or at least if there is a voltage present at the terminals.

Same pump runs both front and rear so more likely to be a power connection than the pump its self. Could be anywhere from column onward.

Pump can be accessed through the front right wheel-arch if the inner shield is removed. Slightly quicker than removing the bumper (especially if you have headlamp washers in the bumper)

To check power you should be able to check from under bonnet and under column which will tell you which way to go..
