Hi,
2002 Picasso. Randomly, the left rear wheel's brake doesn't release after braking.
It has drum brakes on the rear. To get it to release, it is necessary to pull over and open the bleed nipple briefly to relieve the pressure.
As it has ABS, there is no load compensator valve for the rear brakes.
Replaced (to no avail):
- ABS unit.
- Drum brake assembly/hub
Lexia shows no ABS faults, just the usual no communication with air-con fault. No other faults in any ECU on the car.
I can't see what else could be causing it since it has a new hub and new ABS pump/actuator unit?
Has anyone experienced this, or has an idea what might be causing it?
Picasso brake not releasing on one rear wheel intermittently

Re: Picasso brake not releasing on one rear wheel intermitte
my first thought would be flexi hose has collapsed internally as it happens after braking and not after using the hand brake,
and as its only one wheel
and as its only one wheel
