hi,
ok,posting this in citroen as well as renault cos response is always good in citroen.......got a scenic and the passenger window doesn't work.I took the regulator out and the clip was broken.got a new clip and struggled for about 5 weeks whenever I had time, to try and get it back together...anyway, I have managed to do it this morning but everything is really tight, what I want to know is, is that how it should be?? for instance, should I be able to slide the clip up and down the runner? cos I can't..it won't move anywhere.......I am waiting on a temic replacement motor before I can try it but am just trying to find out if this is how it should be?? thanks........

Re: window regulator
Is the clip a Renault one or Ebay? There may be a few versions on that Scenic.

Re: window regulator
just a cheap one off e bay.....got it back together but don't know if it should all be as tight as it is? no experience of them at all.....only decided to investigate cos nothing better to do and found the regulator clip broken and the window held up with a piece of wood,so previous owner obviously knew it wasn't working
