C5 2.2 HDi suspension stuck on low

Unread post by kumar14 »

Hi There,

I have my C5 2.2HDi Auto, model 2001.
I just bought it in January2014.

it has been great all these while except from last few weeks.
1. the starter motor was spoiled, had to change it to new. Now works fine. FIXED.
2. now, the thing is the suspension is no longer working per the button setting in the car.
when i press up or down, it shows in the screen that it works, but actually it doesn't.
Its stuck in the lowest possible level.

Can someone help me suggest what can be the problem here?
I live in Oslo, Norway, and the man hours of mechanics is very expensive.

cheers,

Can you hear the suspension motor running?
Almost always runs for a few seconds when you unlock the car/open a door.

It could also be worth doing a BSi reset, to see if that helps;

Also have a look here and here.
Both contain multiple links to other threads on the subject. Will keep you entertained for a while if nothing else.
