MAF Citroen c5 hdi 110 mark 1

Hi all,
I have had trouble for the past few weeks ? I would start the car up and have no power but i could hear the turbo whistling, this would go on for about 5 miles until the engine warmed up and then I would get full power. Somedays the engine management would not allow me to go over 2750 revs but I would have full power!!! Anyway to cut a long story short it boiled down to the maf being faulty. I have today had it replaced as part of the MOT and the C5 is now unbelievable I have full power and my MPG has gone up as well.
I want to go peacefully in my sleep just like my granddad, not screaming like his passengers

Glad to here the C5 is running great....nice to here from fellow mk1 owners.
Volvo S80 D5.........
C5 2.2HDi Exclusive 2003 manual (now gone).
2009 Renault Megane, the misses drive.
Had a 1988 BX 19TRS Auto many moons ago.
