The guy that did the radius arm found that it probably had been removed and put back together not done. He had to do the weld on the bearings to get them off, the plastic tube was mangled which would explain the squeak and the reason for thinking it had been disturbed, there is a spring clip holding some thing on which was severely butchered then welded in. He thinks the other side may need doing in the not to distant future. I will also have to now do the alignment, steering wheel off by about 15* which will annoy me. I'm scared to go back and ask them, might take another week to do it!
