The Orangy Plastic clip of the Gear Selector

Hi all,

While filling up the ATF, I accidentally broke this orangy plastic clip used by the Gear Selector.


May I know what is the name of this clip and its part number?

it looks like its all one piece with the cable end on service citroen, it dies not show a separate clip for those cable ends

That plastic clip can be separated. Right now I'm too afraid to take it out to photo it. Without the clip, the gear selector cannot be clip on and the car will not move.

When un-clip the entire arm, the orangy clip can be taken out. In fact, it dropped out and while picking it up, I accidentally stepped on it .

Hi all,

I give up, I drove into the local Citroen Service Centre to get it fixed. They don't sell the plastic clip alone.
In the end, I bought a new gear selector (They call it the cable). But take out the plastic clip and replace the faulty one.

To them, this saves me on labour charges, which is as expensive if not more expensive than the cable.

Yes, I paid for the "NEW" Cable (now without the clip) and it is now with me .
