c5 x7 DRL

Hi Guy's my first post. I took my car to this guy with a Lex... system to have my drl's enabled but the system pointed out this was not so on my model. 2009 c5 x7. It looks as if I shall have to hard wire them myself.

What do you think?????

There is an option to upgrade the BSI through the Citroen Service, if your car doesn't have an option for enabling DRL ... this is due to market/trim dependancy... Note that after the BSI update you'll lose the current trip info (mpg + trip information, total mileage will remain) ...

Did your guy with a Lexia follow this procedure to enable the DRL in Diagbox ?
Enable the Daytime Running Lights with a Diagbox via: BSI --> Repair --> Configuration --> Manual Configuration --> Customisation Customer --> enable DRL, along with all the various faffing around saving configurations during this operation. This will put the DRL option onto the instrument panel. There are two options in the BSI for them: DRL on their own, or DRL plus sidelights.
Was his Diagbox one of the variants that doesn't work properly with a C5 X7 ?
....as I would be very surprised if there's not even the option to enable DRLs in the BSI on a 2009 car.

My 2010 C5 didn't have the DRL option in the instrument panel menu either. Followed these instructions in Diagbox to enable them and they now show up in the menu and work a treat.
