HELP !!!!!!

Just got call from cit dealer as the fault with abs light been on all the time has been diagnosed as a faulty ABS ecu, does anyone know were u can get one from used or cheap..... its for a 1999 Xantia 1.8i 16v

Not to doubt the diagnosis, but are you sure the problem isn't with a wheel sensor? Usually the front near side wheel.

Don't panic! My mate got an ABS ECU from a Citroen breakers for 80 quid. Down in the fens somewhere. Try an internet search for citroen breaker and see what comes up. Also Dave Timms was breaking a couple of Xantias not so long ago, so might have some bits left have a look at:

its wot the cit dealer said, they said on diag computer abs ecu would not even communicate it was just breaking out everytine they run a fault test on abs ecu..
