110 Hdi dipstick problem

Hello to all from Bretagne.

Can you nice people over here on the Citroen forum where we normally live, please have a look at our posting about a 110hdi dipstick problem in a 406 which we have posted over on the Peugeot side ??

purple and lilac metalic 2CV(VIOLET)registered to her in doors

Thanks to all - crisis averted.

The plastic piece is nicely lodged in the bend of the pipe and the dipstick now passes it without being wiped.

Apparently this is a very common problem and most Citroens/Peugeots have several pieces of plastic knocking about in the sump.
