C3 Suspension Bushes

Post by Chlorate »

Hi all, I've been driven about by my girlfriend in her 18 month old C3 over the last few days and we've found it to be pulling profoundly to the left.
Jacked it up for a feel around and discovered a fair bit of play in the aft lower arm bush and some visible cracking in the rubber.
Everything else seemed fine but I'm amazed a car so young is having bush troubles (oo-er missus?) can anyone with access to service.citroen tell if there's a recall notice on them?

Poxy dealerships...
She took the car in yesterday to have a look at the bush and an oil level error that keeps popping up on the MFD (and logged something like 700 fault instances on Diagbox).
She gets a phone call, "took it for a test drive and it isn't pulling left and your oil level is low".
Yes it does and no it bloody isn't!
They've suggested she goes for a test drive with a technician, but if they simply took the wheel off and inspected the suspension components they'd spot it immediately! Grumble grumble.
It's a Motability car so technically I can't touch it...

That's the only other choice really Malc, bit of a faff though.
It's happened to me before, tell someone what the problem is they throw their hands up saying "nope!" and refuse to do anything to it until you drive it away and take it somewhere else..
