Thanks for the reply but St Leonards is a bit too far especially if I have to leave it there.

Then you might want to check through this list;

Most of the garages/services are recommended, but there are at least 2 that members have suggested you avoid.

There is a garage that breaks Citroens somewhere in the Medway area, can't remember who it is but you should find it on the citroen xm club.co.uk.

Peter

Found them: remy@medwaycitroen.com They are at Chatham.

I've lived around Maidstone most of my life but when I could not work on them any more I chose to take our C5's to St Leonards - I agree its a trek, but at least you can trust Malcolm to do it properly.

One garage I personally trust is Triple A Citroen near Rye (Sussex again I know...but not a very long drive) but they're a good bunch who get the job done honestly and quickly and will even lend you a tired old Xantia whilst they have yours.
I had them do the clutch in my 110HDi recently for a decent price.

Thanks jgra1, that's a kind offer but I have put a Lexia over it. Unfortunately, it's telling me I need a new flywheel sensor which isn't something I can do myself.

Thanks again jgra1. Really appreciate the offer. Trouble is the MOT is out now so can't really go driving it around. Also not absolutely sure if it is the flywheel sensor - not had the car long (my first Citroen) and only got the Lexia a few weeks ago, so complete Newbie to both. From what I've read the ESP/ABS and engine anti-pollution warnings could be down to a faulty ECU.
Anyway, I've booked it into Mid Kent Motor Services at Larkfield for Thursday - have you any experience of them?
