It seems to be overheating had water steaming and pouring out of the cap on the headertank and dripping down into the wheel arch
. It did in the winter do a little trick of going to max temperature for a short while when very cold (false reading), and i have seen other posts saying the sensor connector might be a little corroded so want to just check that first.
