Why the left and right oil seal look so differently?

Dear all,

I just purchased a pair of oil seal (Left side and Right side) for my Citroen C5 Year 2007 2.0 Petrol. The seals look very differently from each other so I'm worried.

The part number for the left side is 312164 and the right side is 312142.

Can the experts and kind souls advise me whether they are the correct seals to use? I'm going to the workshop tomorrow and I need to make sure I got the correct seal.

they certainly look ok,

different brand differ slightly but it is usual for the two sizes,

if you send me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. i will double check the OE part No.'s for you

on a check with those part No.'s it show they are for an "AUTO GEARBOX AL4"

They look correct, the larger one fits to the left.
