Synergie Speedo Failure ( 1.9 TD year 2000)
Initially erratic readings, then would completely fail for a couple of days and then start working again
Mileometer would still clock up miles when no speed indicated- now completely failed
Transducer connection appears ok --does anyone know any procedure for testing the transducer
output whilst still on the vehicle

If the mileometer was still working it will be the instrument that's at fault.
