cut wire on Xantia 96 VSX turbo

Hi does anyone know what the wire that runs down front passenger door piller on Xantia estate if for? As it has been cut

The sunroof harness runs that-away, (but does your VSX have a sunroof?) as does the the wiring for the IR dome.

Hi old-guy no sun roof what is the IR dome?

On the S1 Xantias the central locking is triggered by an Infra Red (IR) remote control.

OK so the wire that has been cut is part of the central locking by remote.

Just had another look and the cut wire is the phone antenna so nothing to worry about thanks for all your suggestions. Neil
