Depollution system warning (ECU)

Post by c3owner »

Hello

Today I got another light on my dashboard. The depollution system light. I am having a new ECU fitted on Thursday and am wondering can this light be effected by the ecu. I currently have -.- as my speedo, the airbag, the seltbelt, the abs and the brake system lights all on.

When I went in to get the car diagnoised last Friday only the brake system lights and ABS light came on intermittent. The dealership said I needed a new ECU/ABS...but now I have this depolution indictor light permanently on can this be caused be a faulty ECU/ABS?

Your engine light will come on if the speedo stops working, as the engine ECU needs this information. As the Abs unit is faulty, this will most likely be why, as the abs unit provides this information.
