citroen synergie 2.0 hdi 2001 no light in dashboard

guys
when i put my head lamps on i don't have any light in the dashboard,
I'm assuming its a bulb .. what sort of fix is this are they any instructions anywhere

My 406 is the same, I think they still use bulbs and removing the instrument panel is not usually difficult, a Haynes manual or someone who has done it will tell you.

actually the whole dashboard looks dead no mileometer speedometer nothing ... i've seen those on ebay what else needs replacing to make it good

I would start checking fuses. On the Xantia there is a fuse for the instrument panel. If yours has such a fuse, it would be reasonable to assume that if the fuse has failed the instrument panel would stop working.
