Non-EU PSA Grumble

Post by addo »

OK, so the PSA group is up the creek fiscally. They sell a large chunk of the biz to Dongfeng. Nothing terribly unusual about that, business-wise.

What has me baffled, is right on the tail of their courageous (cue Sir Humphrey) pronouncements about how they're going to reinvent themselves and sally forth as a world-conquering marque - they block subscriber information access to other than EU signatories! Flamin' unbelieveable.

So a person like me, rather than paying €5,20/hr for SEDRE quite regularly, will now pay £12 once every few years for pirated discs.

Can someone with an MBA explain the logic of what PSA has done, please?

You ought to know better than use the word logic in the same sentence as PSA!

Is it true there is no French translation for the word 'logic'?

The French word for logic is 'logique'. However, isn't 'que' the French for what? Hence, logiwhat?

Ultimately, my endearingly bad French won them over (at least that's how I like to think it worked). Service restored, quite a few happy Aussies now.
