There are many many posts on the subject, I encourage you to search the forum for " C5 brake capliper"....enjoy the read.

As for your present situation, if it does not work loose by gripping the arm (mole grips) and pushing back and forth ( do this a LOT then some more then double again)....then its new caliper time.
As a temp measure...DO NOT use your handbrake unless you have to as you will destroy your disks if you don't notice. (I did!)

There are some good deals on the evilbay

A very common fault, however many cars have original calipers (both mine have) and high miles, so fair ware and tear

The levers get draggy or seized because the spring isn't man enough to pull them off, there are some suggestions for adding an extra spring in one of the threads stickyfinger mentions. A regular spray with something like 3 in 1 oil will help to keep the lever shafts lubed.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

Not in a way that is easy.

I tried to keep mine going and warped a disk = more $$

If it is a real sticky one then new calipers are the only way to go....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Right-B ... 1133235762" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Are you sure its not the cable that's sticking? If it is work some oil into it and saturate any cracks there are in the outer cover.
