Bleeping Radio in C8

Hi Can anybody tell me why the radio in my C8 has suddenly started making a constant beeping, and if anything can be done to stop it?

Has the radio been changed ? The beeping is a security mode, the cars VIN number is stored in the BSI unit & the radio set, if the 2 numbers dont match the radio will beep, its a 5 minute job to sort out with a Lexia.
If the radio has not been changed it sounds like it has just lost its coding.
