Any suggestions? Have tried the Citroen dealer and Chandler but not very impressed tbh. Getting close to cam-belt change and a service.

Nothing on a standard service a good local cant do, and the belt is standard practice....

The best "place" I know in Bristol is AutoClassico in Henfield, Mike Mercer (the owner) is one of the best mechanics I have ever met.

The Bristol Citroen dealer is probably ok as prices are quite competitive when they have offers.

I have used Tony Weston at Cambridge south of Gloucester on the A38 for twenty years now. He has worked on all my Citroens – CXs, BXs, Xantia, Visa etc. He and his son are excellent. They can be contacted on 01453 890045. Its easy to get to and from Bristol when dropping off a car – Cam & Dursley station is close by.
