Activa ride height

Post by xantos »

Well I have been searching for this information quite a long time and I didn't find anything about the ride height for Activa MK2 year 1998. I found for MK1 year 1996 and I am not sure if the measurements are the same. Or maybe it's the same setting as for MK2 HA?

Thank you!

As far as I know (and someone may reply knowing better) Activa ride height is exactly as with the normal Xantia. Just make sure it's the same at both sides!

Well this picture tells it's different for normal, HA and activa. But it's MK1.

I don't think the Activa body ride height is different as such, (looks the same to me on the Activa I've seen) more that the chassis measurement points are at different heights off the ground due to a slightly different suspension chassis design, thus the chassis measurements are different to get the same or similar ride height.

I think the '96 model year ride height measurement changes continue on to the S2 models but I can try looking in Docbackup to see if I have figures for a 1998 Activa if you like. (Assuming Docbackup decides to work on my laptop this time! It's not the most reliable software around...)

Looks like the data in Docbackup is the same as what you have above (which are scans I made of a printed Citroen service manual in 2005 :) ) - the latest information is listed as "96 model year onwards", so I think you'll just have to go with that. See below for the versions from Docbackup:

Height adjustment procedure: (only has measurements for pre-96 models)

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/782 ... ontrol.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Addendum of measurement figures that also includes 96 model year onwards:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/782 ... ension.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As you can see its the same as what you already had. In case you need it, here is the adjustment procedure for the anti-roll corrector:

Thank you very useful. Especially the roll adjustment on the activa.
