Xsara scuttle panel removal?

Post by RichardW »

More problems with my Sister's Xsara.... reported bang followed by no windscreen wiper action. Anyone know how to get the scuttle panel off? Is it glued to the screen?

Sorted. It's not glued to the screen, just clipped onto the car - it's quite difficult to prise the clips off though - must buy that trim removal tool I keep talking about! Was exactly the same failure as this thread: http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... =3&t=40926" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; the back of the socket had just sheared off. No way of repairing it, so I managed to get another from a scrapper and fitted it. Much easier to put the panels back with the bonnet removed....!
