Wot No Paint?

I thought after having the first ever welding done to my 1998 Xantia estate I'd pop into the Main Stealers in Kettering today to see if I could buy a couple of their extremely tiny but reasonable quality spray cans to spray my welded sill.
But they don't stock it anymore, not even a touch up pen.

I seem to remember buying a touch up pen for the 2cv six months ago though and that was first registered in 1987.

I remember my Father being able to buy Citroen paint for years with the GS and GSA but I suppose times are a changing these days.
So I've got to try to find my Admiral Blue paint elsewhere now, the paint code is KNCB any ideas anybody please?
I may well have to go to a spray shop to buy a tin of it.

and don't say get a new car or have it all sprayed black, it just won't wash not after the engine rebuild last year

Back in the summer, when I had to have a patch welded into the VSX's O/S sill, I disguised the blobby weld with a couple of coats of spray-can high-build primer and then over-sprayed with a couple of coats of colour from a spray-can made up to order by a local paint supplier from the colour code. It's a very fair match as was the can they made up for the 'Green Lady' a couple of years ago.

I am sure you can still order the paints, I get them regularly for door mirrors.

Hal frauds make shaky cans up to your paint code in some of there branch's

You can also go online and order cans so long as you have your paint code.
