Rang up GT to ask for a poly v belt and was asked whether I had a Sanden or Delphi compressor, how do I find out which one is fitted and where is it located.

Thanks.

Follow the belt, it will be the thing that doesn't look like an alternator or hydraulic pump. Should have a label on it - if you can see it.

Cheers Peter, will I be able to locate and read if I look from top down or will I need to take under tray off and rummage from underneath.
Been told it's either 1735mm or 1750mm from GT, Euro have said only stock one Conti brand £12.50 1740mm.

Thanks

You need to look from underneath - the compressor is on the bottom. However, if you post up the last 8 digits of the VIN, we might be able to confirm via service.citroen.

Forgot to ask the mechanic what compressor was fitted, belt used was 1750mm think it might be a Delphi.

I've got a 1735mm belt fitted at takeover, which spells a Sanden, but I don't trust what's given. I can't recognise the compressor from the label - it's a thin band and quite worn. I can tell from the label, capacity is 9 fl oz. it has in bold 5290 on the label
Checking servicecitroen I only found options, not definition, but perhaps I don't know so well, how to use their system.
VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

From looking at images in the net, the body looks more like a Delphi.
Any clues anyone?
