I don't know my radio code and was wondering if i could use the memory saver that plugs into the cigarette lighter , so when i disconnect the battery when welding, i don't lose the code to the radio?????????????
Any ideas????

What type of Radio, as aware you can get the code quite easily from some Citroen Radio's via the S/N on the side...

To avoid potential damage from stray current when welding, you need to short the battery leads together, so you won't be able to use a backup 'memory saver' battery.

Depends what your car is. Some don't have codes, they are paired to the car.
