light left on sounder

Post by allanmc »

I have a 2 series Xantia and I am looking for the sounder which lets you know if you have left your lights on the Haynes Manual say's it's at the back of the fuse box and if you remove the trim around the fuse box it is there, the trim is off and all I see are Relays can you tell me exactly where it is and how to find it
Cheers

It probably looks like a relay just with either holes in one side to let the sound out or looks like a little speaker on one face...dont know exactly where its..but the ones i've seen look identical to a relay

At xantia mk2 the buzzer that let you know if you left lights on or key in switch is behind dashboard glued on circuit motherboard.
To get there you have to dismantle the dashboard.
That black thing circled in red is the buzzer.
