on going C3 problems

Post by citronut »

this is the 04 1.4 petrol C3 i ran a thread on a year or two back, that has had on going problems for probably 2 to 3 years now,

i cant get to the bottom of

i have plunged my DIS-LEXIA up this C3 several times over the last 3 to 4 years,

it still occasionally says it is over heating, even with the engine stone cold,

i have replace both temperature sensors,

its also had two cats and lambda sensors replaced in about 3 to 4 years,

i just took it for its MOT yesterday which it passed with nout showing up on the emissions test,

the symptoms that did come to light though were, on hard full lock either way, the engine revs would drop so low it was on the verge of cutting out,

the other symptom that happens most of the time on pulling away is, it hesitates with no go at all, then it picks up and takes of,

any help would be appreciated
Regards, malcolm.
