Help with service Citroen

Ive had a cry for help from someone.

They have an R reg Synergye 1.9 TD Manual. They need a gearbox for one, and according to Service Citroen its a BE3R or BE4R box, I think just uses a cable change rather then BE3 normal Linkages.

What Id like to know, is, Is there a way to Cross Ref the Box to see what else its used in (Other then Pug and Fiats Clones)

I cant seem to find anywhere to do it, if there is a way..?

If you've got the VIN it should call up the part no for the box. Enter this in the search box (top right of the screen) and then when the results come up, click on the "Launch search on all vehicle familes" line - this will bring up a list of other (Citroens) that use the same part no. For Pug, you'd need to look in the equivalent, and do the search again to see what Pugs it turns up.

I have Richard, but it still lists a BE3 R AND a BE4 R box...

Hmm, on characteristics it says:

TRANSMISSION BVM5
GEARBOX (CHARACTERISTICS) BVM ME

It doesn't seem to pick up on actual fitment with the VIN, perhaps it's too old! Anyway, found a manual gearbox that matches the ME:

2200 ZQ
NFP
NEW MEC GEARBOX
CP 13X59 CT 20X25
MARKING HM23 (HM26)

That part no only comes back against Synergie.....

Yea, I had a simmilar problem. Its a BE3 box with Cable change added as the gearlever is on the dash. Id of thought the Relay/Partner uses the same box, but it doesn;t seem to, it uses a ML/ME type box..

You have different info to me there now Richard...
