Neighbours bin and bumper woes

Post by cpikey316_ »

Helpful neighbour left his big black bin lying down in the access to parking! Now my bumper has dislodged itself from my car and stubbornly refuses to go back on.

Its the passenger side, from the light towards the tire, its sticking out just a little bit, it seems to slot into the wing somehow, but couldnt see how to do it in the wind and rain and dark.

Will it just slide back in, or do I need to take the whole bumper off?

What vehicle? It could be worth adding it to your signature to help simplify any queries in future.

Is it possible that the weather conditions put the bin there? It has been a bit breezy today! People aren't normally inconsiderate of their neighbours.

There's a screw near the top of the front wheel arch liner that pulls the bumper in and stops in protruding near the headlamp, has this pinged out? Also a plastic moulding on the top of the bumper that clips into the lower part of the wing.

It'll probably just want a good banging into place with the long clip which runs the length of the wing. There should then be a trim pop fixing which goes into the hold in the bumper and through a hole in the wing, just inside the wheel arch.
