the car starts walking makes a noise and then the noise dese

I have a problem peugeot 206 1.9d.when the car starts walking makes a noise and then the noise desepires.it happens only when I start the car.I think that the problem is in the gearbox,but I'm not sure.please help me.thank you.

That's quite vague and very hard for us to diagnose over the internet. It could be various things and would be wrong of us to speculate.

Best recommendation I can make is to make a recording of the noise and upload to Youtube.
