Heater not working

Post by forbsy36 »

Hi all
Im new here and was hoping someone could help me out. Ive got a Citroen Xsara 1.9td MK1 1998 the problem is the heater has stopped working. It only ever worked on setting number 4 prior to it not working anymore. I have since changed the heater resistor pack and had the fan tested which is all in good working order, however this has not fixed the problem. Has anyone got any ideas as to what else it could be?

Many thanks.

Plug terminals on the connetion TO the motor. The Brown 4 pin connection has a habit of bad connection.

Start engine, switch on the roatry dial, go under the dash and wiggle the connection to the blower. Try that!

If that does something remove the plug and clean up the connections..
