Xantia check strap removal

Is there a knack to removing the check strap from the back doors?

I'm not sure. If it's anything like the 306 I did, it's a door card out job, and a long, thin armed fiddle to undo two inner bolts before you can get it out. The drivers door on the Berlingo is noising up now, I can't face it!
