MOT booked for the Xantia on Friday morning, How many fails?

Post by Timmo » 15 Jan 2014, 16:53

Just a bit of fun chaps,
Booked the MOT for the Veg burner on Friday morning (09:30), done 0 prep to it apart from the advisories form last year.
How many fails or Advisories do you reckon it'll get???? ;-)

it'll definately get one for Oil leak on engine as there's Oil All over it from the cog box issues, And it'll get one for Play in the wiper limkage, BUt how many others???? - i'm Not expecting a pass first go!

the Ol' Girl failed the yearly, but not half as bad as i thought!!
Rear wheel bearing which i was aware of due to the Hum from the back lately,
small patch of welding on the inner edge of the sill under rear passenger door,
Seatbelt on rear passenger not retracting at all, (both rears have been lazy!)
brake/Suspension pipe Bursting on the ramp! and due to that, brakes imbalanced across axels,

2 new advisories over the wiper linkage worn (2nd year), engine oil leak (3 years running!) and suspension pipe covers fitted and slight blow in exhaust,
Rear offside wheel corroded, - was the spare,
rear sus pipes corroded,

so all in, not too bad! less than i was expecting,

will pop a post up in citroen to find out exactly what the pipes are called so i know which ones to get! ;-)
