c5 faulty gear box

c5 faulty gear box
The other night my c5 got stuck in third gear and had to be toad home. On inspection I have been told it is the gear linkage selecta cable that has gone. Am going to scrap yards tomorrow to try and get a replacement. the question is are all hdi box's and their bits the same. i.e c5 1.6 hdi same as c4 1.6 hdi. please help

Been ringing around salvage yards but they only seem to have either 407 1.6 hdi or the c4 1.6 hdi can anyone shed any light on the compatability of these parts. Many thanks

If you need just the cable i suspect it will be model specific, the cable is going to be a different length for different models.

Need the gear lever assembly mainly something has gone in their apparently.
