Re: RAW sensor
Beat me to it Lighty. Not a lot of info there Tony. The C5 has been around since 2001 in various guises I think.
Diesel, petrol?
Is RAW some sort of remote sensor for emissions data?.
Thought RAW was a digital photography term.

Re: RAW sensor
Sorry
the RAW sensor sits behind the handbrake which you can see when pulling the cigarette compartment out
sorry i have a 2.0 hdi C5 2005
when the RAW sensor is faulty it disables the ESP button and puts a ABS warning light on the dash board
i have now managed to track one down and all the faults have cleared thankyou

Re: RAW sensor
I think you mean the YAW sensor, it's movement sensor for the
ESP system.

Re: RAW sensor
Yep, I finally Googled it and came to the same conclusion. RAW showed up in digital photography but never in ABS.
My search engine corrected my terms by asking "Did you mean YAW sensor"

That makes sense, thankswheeler wrote:I think you mean the YAW sensor, it's movement sensor for the ESP system.
I never heard about such a sensor and it was kind of bothering me.
No reasonable information from Google search
Now I checked from service pages and I found this sensor which is under
the Driving Assistance section (A small box fixed with two nuts):
Dynamic Stability Control
- 01 - 4549 10 Twin Sensor ESP
- 01 - 4549 34 Central Inertia Unit
Are we on the right track?
