got paint code, now where do i get paint?

ok,
through this forum I found where my paint code is, but where do I get the paint from?? I went to halfords yesterday, and surprise surprise, they "don't mix" my code?? it's a pretty boring grey but it's too big a job for halfords....so where can I get matching paint from?? they had loads of codes on their computer that were close,but none matching mine?? very annoying but not surprising, any advice on where to get some paint from would be most welcome........thanks..............

Look for a company called Paintshop Supplies near you. There are three here (Sunderland, South Shields & Durham).
They keep practically everything you could want for refinishing and their prices are far and away better than Halfords and the like.

Go to the dealer if you just want a touch up stick or a spray can you get the correct colour and lacquer in aerosols for about nine quid.

I bought an aerosol set (colour and lacquer) a few weeks ago for my silver 2004 C5, just looked out the invoice it was £13.21 all in but my local dealer always gives me a 20% discount so the normal price would have been £16.51 + vat
