C5 gearstick puzzle
Quick question on my C5 ,06 plate 1.6 hdi I've found the rubber gaiter at the bottom of the gear stick has a small plug on the passenger side . what is it for ????? Regards john.

If you pull it off there is a hole behind it for inserting a special locking tool that locks the lever in the exact neutral position for when you adjust the gear change cables.
