1.6Hdi Emissions Query

Post by phil.s »

I'm looking at replacing my old Peugeot 406 with a newer C5 1.6Hdi. I notice that the CO2 emissions are are slightly lower from 1st June 2006 putting it in a lower tax class. Peugeot 407s are the same albeit from October 2006.

Does anyone know what's behind this. Was the engine improved?

That's interesting. Parker's reckons yours should be £140!
