Re: c5 paint work
Chances are that its the oils in the suncream that jave soaked into the clear coat, it is a Real pain in the bum to remove, firstly try baby wipes, they are very good for this sort of thing, failing that neat fairy on the areas, if that doesnt shift it then thinners/panel wipe or Isopropyl alcohol, but be aware after them you will have unprotected paintwork, a quick splash of polish over the area will help!
Hope that helps.

WD40 sometimes works as a solvent to shift stuff, worth a go after the baby wipes idea.

Talcum powder if it's oil in the lacquer, spread it on and let it lie for a while.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

ok guys i will try all these options.i have alredy tried the wd40 and that did no good.
on a different note, the paint on my front drivers wing is all chipping off and i know
where there is a scrap car thats the same colour.is it a hard job to take off the wing
and fit it to my car?

Re: c5 paint work
Took me 15 mins to do it on the Xantia first time, just a case of finding all the bolts, shouldn't take too long to get off!
