is it dodgy is a cars reg plate has been changed/?

Kinda urgent. Seeing car today. Did a car check and it says the number plate was changed and said caution. No indication of anything else such as write off etc so why be cautious. What does a change hide/indicate. A speedy bit of advice would be appreciated

Mine had previously had a private plate on it, other reasons might be an import from Ireland or the IOM ?

If its been imported it will say so on the front page of the V5.
Could it be a private number plate ? Dont know if this would count as a plate change ??

Private plate reverts to the original number if the owner retains his personal number as far as I know.The vin should be the same on the car as the regd. Doc.
Changing plates sometimes used to be a pointer towards a cloned car before more stringent recording of details.

Yup looks like a private number previously. Never saw the reveal button on the hpi report.

Another panic averted. A new one will be along shortly.
