lexia in north cumbria

Post by g4jnw »

I have a C5 diesel and one of the tyre sensors have started to play up though i dont know which one as first i got a warning, Tyres(s) deflated) then after 2 weeks, Tyre(s) punctured - checked all the tyres and they are ok, even let them down a bit and re-inflated them to match the required pressure.

I cannot tell which sensor is playing up so would like to turn off the sensor - i have a reader which works fine and have used it to fault find and reset the fault BUT there is not fault showing so guess i need a proper lexia, does anyone know someone in North Cumbria or Dumfries & Galloway with one that could turn the sensor off please.

I understand it would be a 10 mins job - spoke to my only Citroen dealer and they refused to do it as they say they are fitted for a reason!!!

Guess they want to just refit the sensors at a huge bill!!!

There is a list and map of our members who offer Lexia diagnostics for other members, look here.

Your closest is miked. PM him and ask about having your sensors disabled.

That would be me. Haven't had a message but I'm willing to help. To be honest I don't even know if they can be disabled, let alone which ecu talks to them (BSI?)

g4jnw: Are you new to forum personal messages? I'll PM you. At the top of the screen you should see '1 new message'. When you reply don't worry if your message stays in your 'outbox'. (It's not like email.)

Not at all Steve. I sent a PM telling him Saturdays are best for me. I never got a reply.
