ECUSAFE...... assistance needed

Post by philthyD »

I have a '01 C5 2.2 SX, I have Lexia...... and I have removed all of the dpf/additive functions.

now the final step requires a re-map to remove DPF references from EEPROM.

Is there anyone in the north of England that has the ability to do this for me?.......... by North I mean REAL North I.E North of Sheffield?

alternatively I could pay someone for a copy of ECUSAFE and find someone with the relevant cables?

Any help would be grately received as i have already done over 500 miles in limp mode :(

I have a vague recollection of a place in Newcastle that has done it for one member - they did the whole job though.
Will see if I can dig up the thread. Unless they post beforehand of course.

I haven't found the reference I recall seeing some time ago but there is a potential company here, may be worth giving them a call.

In the meantime, a rad through this thread might help.
