Failed MOT - Supplementary Restraint System warning lamp indicates a fault [5.4.2]
I've removed the connecting plugs and directly connected wires under both seats but it's still not having it.
I think I've read somewhere that you can put some resistors in line to solve this, any one done this?
Thanks for your help

Putting resistors in place is a very bad idea as you would be disabling a safety feature. The pretensioners themselves rarely cause any problems. If you've made a good connection between the wires, the next thing to look at would be the swirly whirly connector behind the steering wheel.
The two ways of testing are with a Lexia or swapping out with a known working replacement. If you go down the known working replacement route, bear in mind the part changed a few times during the cars life. There is a thread on here somewhere showing the different types.
I've not suceeded in the past with differentiating between good and bad swirly whirly connectors with a continuity test.

Kev makes a good point.
Roatry contact unit behind the steering wheel as its a common moving part, and the other thing is the Air Bag ECU its self can also go pop..
Theres a couple of Mark one variations so the exact year would be good ..
